Church Sample Plan Policy Manual – PDF

This Church Sample Plan Policy Manual template (PDF Version) is intended as a starting point for church organizations to assist them in the development of a site-specific Church Safety & Security Plan. This template is based on a generic church organization and serves as a working guide any faith-based organization may use to develop and customize their own policies and procedures.

This Sample Plan is 132 pages full of policy documents provided as examples of what might be contained in a Church Safety & Security Plan. Depending on YOUR organization’s specific threat and hazard analysis, additional policies and procedures may need to be drafted. For example, if YOUR church rents space for weekend social or professional functions (Crab Feeds, Birthday Parties, Training Courses, Yoga Classes), a policy and procedure related to this function would need to be developed; that specific policy should require an Insurance Certificate to be provided by the renter, 10 days prior to any rental date.
